Doctor fish (Garra rufa) are about 3-4 centimeters long and have no teeth. They feed on dead skin, removing dead skin cells and leaving healthy skin alone. There is no pain, instead you may feel a nibbling or tickling sensation when the fish feed.

Fish therapy claims that in addition to removing dead skin cells, the fish also provide a micro-massage as they nibble, which may improve blood circulation.

You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire, and provided you have nothing contagious or any cuts or open wounds you will be able to have the treatment. We wipe over the feet to remove and lotions (it is best not to have applied fake tan or fresh nail polish in the last 24 hours, these can be toxic to the fish). Then place your feet in to your own tank for 20 minutes. Our tanks have a state of the art UV filtration system that filters the whole tank every 8 minutes and kills bacteria, so it's completely safe.

Walk in appointments are available but booked ones take priority so book to avoid disappointment.
